Hans Kanters was born in 1947 in Amsterdam. He has been painting since 1967, lithographing since 1986 and sculpting since 1994. Kanters is autodidact. He worked in the Netherlands, Southern Spain, Formentera, Southern France and since 1993 on Ibiza.
The work of Hans Kanters has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Greece, America and Japan in various galleries and art fairs. In these countries work are in collections. The Jan van der Togt Museum in Amstelveen has a permanent collection of Kanters paintings. A solo exhibition was on display in this museum from 29 November 2012 to 13 January 2013.Medium- Lithograph
