Kino Mistral

Born in Milan, Mistral spent his first 20 years living in Corso Magenta near the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with the Cenacle of Leonardo da Vinci (The Last Supper). Thrilled by the splendor and uniqueness of this masterpiece Mistral is left moved.

Having attended the Leonardo Da Vinci scientific high school then the Faculty of Architecture, Mistral devoted himself to art and experimented with painting and sculpture. Passionate about ethnic sculptures and exotic art, Mistral decided to travel, gain knowledge and study the artistic expressions of different ethnic groups around the world to include Central and South America, Saharan Africa and in Equatorial, the Middle East and South-East Asia.

Mistral moved to New York for two years to learn about the newest and most sophisticated design and artistic concepts which were developing at the time and had the honor to meet both Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg.

Upon returning to Italy, Mistral married in Palermo, where he fell in love with the people and colour’s of Sicily.

From 2000 to 2018 Mistral received several awards throughout Italy, participated in numerous art shows and exhibitions, to include:
